We are always proud to take part in the Celebrity Game, the Roman week that celebrates basketball as a lifestyle, bringing together thousands of enthusiasts of all ages, skills, and genders each year.
This event once again confirms that basketball is much more than just a sport; it is a passion that unites, breaking down barriers.
From May 27 to June 1, Colle Oppio Park, with its panoramic view of the Colosseum, hosted the 2024 edition of the Celebrity Game. The event featured tournaments, contests, charity matches, and entertainment moments, involving fans, amateur and professional athletes, along with well-known figures from the worlds of basketball, music, and entertainment.
The highlight was undoubtedly the highly anticipated match on Saturday, June 1, where Team Roma faced off against Team Milano in a vibrant, adrenaline-filled game. Among the players were some of the most iconic figures from basketball and entertainment, such as Andrea Pecchia, Tommy Marino, Bruno Cerella, Valentina Vignali, Linton Johnson, Giovanni De Nicolao, Tommaso Laquintana, Giulia Ciavarella, Elisabetta Tassinari, Alvin, Deuce Jones, and many more. A perfect mix of talent and entertainment that kept the audience on the edge of their seats until the final basket.
Alongside this epic showdown, another significant moment was the tournament for middle and high schools in Rome, which saw the participation of 283 teams and over 1,000 students. A strong signal for the future of youth basketball in the capital.
GABRIELE PROCIDA SPECIAL GUEST AT OUR ROME STORE
Among the special guests of the Celebrity Game was rising star Gabriele Procida, who, before stepping onto the Colle Oppio playground, visited the Airdom store in Rome, where he met hundreds of fans for a special Q&A session. With questions about his career and reflections on his achievements and future goals, Gabriele, with his freshness and humility, inspired and captivated the audience, reinforcing the connection between Airdom's and Nike's values.

THE COURT AND JERSEYS OF THE CELEBRITY GAME BEAR THE SIGNATURE OF AIRDOM
Airdom aimed to contribute significantly to the success of the Roman event that embodies our values. Therefore, in collaboration with Ecopneus, we created the playground that hosted the numerous tournaments and exciting activities of the Celebrity Game. The modular sports flooring, made from recycled rubber from discarded tires, combines performance with environmental awareness, reaffirming our commitment to promoting a greener and more sustainable sport.
In addition to the court, Airdom oversaw the entire creation of the jerseys worn at the Celebrity Game, from the creative phase to production. To complete this extraordinary project, we also launched a limited-edition merchandising collection dedicated to the event.
