Over the years, this combination has found various interesting expressions, including the performances or even rap albums of some NBA professional players such as Damian Lillard of the Portland Blazers, Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, Andre Drummond, Lonzo Ball, Aaron Gordon, Lance Stephenson, and many others.
Another point of contact between these two worlds is certainly represented by Emis Killa, one of the most renowned and appreciated rappers in Italy, with a passion for the game of basketball. From his song "I.L.T.G - I Love This Game" (the motto of the National Basketball Association) to hosting a NBA-themed program on Sky, to participating in events and initiatives related to the world of sports.
Among these, his recent involvement in our photoshoot for the launch of the AJ4 Retro Thunder, featuring a design with a black nubuck upper combined with contrasting yellow accents. An iconic colorway presented by one of the icons of Italian rap.
