One Day Clinic

One Day Clinic was born from the idea of Guido Saibene, an experienced and award-winning coach and Technical Director of Airdom Academy, who has built his career in the development of young players.

This initiative brought together 230 coaches from all over Italy on May 1, 2023, at the Cambini Training Center in Milan. The event had a single, important objective: to stimulate passion, reflection, and moments of education among those working with talents aged 5 to 19.

Carlo Recalcati

Basketball coach and former Italian basketball player. A true icon in the world of basketball, having been one of the few Italian coaches to win 3 championships with 3 different teams. Since 2007, he has been a member of the Italy Basketball Hall of Fame in the coaching category. In 2015, he became the winningest coach in Serie A (with 526 victories). In the same year, he was at the top of the list of the winningest coaches in the playoffs.

Gaetano Gebbia

He coached Viola Reggio Calabria in the top Italian league, as well as other national youth teams. He is an honorary coach of the Italian Basketball Federation. His main objective is player development, and he is always ready for new projects.

Alex Sarama

Alex's goal is to help coaches stimulate their thinking by combining personal experiences and practices with the empirical evidence that exists in the world of research. Many of these evidence-based coaching ideas are based on the Constraint Led Approach (CLA), supported by Ecological Dynamics (EcoD). He is also a consultant for NBA, NCAA, and professional teams, as well as a player development specialist for the Paris Basketball team in the EuroCup and the head coach of College Prep.

One Day Clinic represented another exciting opportunity for Airdom to foster the culture of basketball and promote the teachings of this sport, which serves as a unifying force, promoting healthy fun and well-being. We extend our heartfelt thanks once again to Guido Saibene for his remarkable expertise in organizing the event. We also express our gratitude to Sanga Basket for their unwavering support and presence alongside us. Furthermore, we extend our appreciation to all the coaches from various parts of Italy who participated in the session.
